Hoam Faculty House ↔ Building 25 / 25-1, Seoul National University
We would also like to provide directions from the Hoam Faculty House to Building 25 & 25-1, where the data school & workshop will take place, respectively. The two buildings are located right next to each other.
Please note that the campus map and route shown here are based on the shuttle bus route that will be in operation during the event. Since the distance between the accommodation and the venue is fairly long, some guests may consider walking (it takes about 25 – 30 minutes); however, we strongly recommend using the shuttle bus specially arranged for the event, which will run between the Hoam Faculty House and Building 25-1.
The shuttle bus will operate between the Hoam Faculty House, Building 25-1, and the dining venue. The tentative shuttle schedule is as follows, although it may be subject to change. We kindly ask that you wait for further updates.
- June 24 (Wed): [Hoam → 25-1] departure at 9:50 AM & arrival by 10:00 AM
- June 25 (Thu): [Hoam → 25-1] departure at 8:40 AM & arrival by 8:50 AM
- June 26 (Fri): [Hoam → 25-1] departure at 8:40 AM & arrival by 8:50 AM
- June 27 (Sat): [Hoam → 25-1] departure at 8:40 AM & arrival by 8:50 AM
If you are unable to catch the shuttle bus and need to travel individually, or if you need to return briefly to your accommodation during the event, you may use the following local bus service. Please note, however, that in order to use public transportation in Korea, you will need to purchase a transportation card such as a T-money card at a convenience store, or pay cash and buy a ticket each time you use the subway. T-money cards can be purchased with an overseas credit card, but they can only be reloaded with cash. We kindly ask that you keep this in mind.
1) Hoam Faculty House → Building 25 / 25-1
When you exit the main entrance of the Hoam Faculty House, you will see a main road straight ahead. After crossing the road, walk a short distance to the right, and you will find a bus stop with a sign. From there, you may take Bus Gwanak 02-2. Although it does not stop directly in front of Building 25-1, it will take you conveniently to a nearby stop, “Administration Building.” After getting off, you should be able to find Buildings 25 and 25-1 easily within about a 3-minute walk across the lawn plaza.
2) Building 25 / 25-1 → Hoam Faculty House
When returning to your accommodation, you may board the same bus at the “Administration Building” bus stop near Buildings 25 and 25-1, and get off at the “Hoam Faculty House” stop. Please note that the drop-off point is slightly different from the boarding point used for travel toward Buildings 25 and 25-1; however, it is actually closer to the accommodation, so there is no need for concern.
