Description

Abstract
Synthetic fiber-reinforced composites have been widely utilized in sectors such as automotive and aerospace. However, increasing environmental concerns associated with synthetic fibers have redirected focus toward natural fiber reinforcements, appreciated for their biodegradability, recyclability, and ecological safety. Natural fiber polymer composites demonstrate notable strength, lightweight properties, and durability, making them suitable for diverse applications, including automobile components, aerospace structures, acoustic vibration isolation, impact energy absorption, and building construction. The aims of this study were evaluating the mechanical performance of enset fiber composites reinforced with 1500 resin for potential use in automotive dashboards. For investigating, correlate the experimental data of the mechanical properties such as tensile and flexural strength and thermal behavior using ANSYS software. Additionally, the results were compared to conventional synthetic composites in terms of application feasibility by assessing structural integrity, durability, and sustainability. This demonstrates the eco-friendly potential of natural fiber composites in reducing environmental impact in automotive structures.
